What’s on Your Desktop? Here are Some Free Music Wallpapers

Whether you like to use a PC or a Mac, I can’t think of a better way to show off your musical interests than to customize your desktop. I found a variety of free music wallpapers from Deviant Art and a digital artist located at Vlad Studio that I’d like to share with you. Deviant Art is a community of artists that offers free wallpapers that are okay to download for your personal use.(1) Vlad Studio also offers free desktop wallpapers for your personal use as well.(2)

Here are some music wallpapers that I really liked:

Music for the Masses – This is what I would consider a "mixed media" contemporary look, featuring a guitar and music notes.
Symphony – Available with a brown or green background, this musical wallpaper features a tree bearing instruments and sheet music as its "fruit."
Techno Music – A very "classical music meets technology" desktop that offers a tribute to the the electronic music movement.
Melody – Simple yet visually appealing, this music wallpaper features sheet music with a few notes lifting off of the page.
Flute Wallpaper – This is a musical tribute to the flute with sheet music imprinted in the background.
Music Eater – A whimsical desktop featuring a "music eater," an animal that "eats" the music notes right off of the sheet music.
I Love Music in Blue – Soft blue background featuring a guitar and hearts in the left hand corner, perfect for guitarists.
Music – An artist’s impression of what music is to them. A brilliant light show against a dark background with the word "music" at the center.
Manuscript Wallpaper – Thought this one was interesting because of the angles. The artist features measures from one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Fugues.
Introduction to Jazz – This artist had specially created this music wallpaper featuring icons of the era. Can you recognize the featured jazz trumpet player?

While I picked music wallpapers that had an instrument or sheet music as its focus, there were a lot of others for people who enjoy listening to and appreciating music.
