Smile! Play or Sing these 25 Popular Children’s Songs

Children’s songs are a great way to introduce your kids or students to the world of music. Historically, the origin of traditional children’s songs is often subject to debate. Some songs, like London Bridge is Falling Down, were thought to have originated from a nursery rhyme and then set to music. In recent years, several media-based companies, including Disney, have done an excellent job blending animation with memorable songs that have attracted musicians and singers from all ages.
In this list, we highlight a selection of twenty-five popular children’s songs that range from traditional tunes like There’s a Hole in my Bucket to C is for Cookie, a fun song composed for the popular children’s television show SESAME STREET. When you’re looking at this list of our favorite children’s songs, we’d like to point out that songs one through eight are part of our sheet music catalog of Musicnotes Editions, too. For those songs, you can print the sheet music an unlimited number of times. Enjoy!
