Hi Molly,

We did announce the additional songs in the post, which are traditional Irish songs.

"In addition to our new selection of Celtic Woman sheet music, we are also arranging three songs that will be available to download on our site by St. Patrick's Day. The songs are Farewell to Erin (Farewell to Ireland), Planxty Burke and In the Gloaming."

Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for your entries, the contest closed on February 28th, 2010 so that we would have time to arrange the sheet music for the contest winners.

I'm a bit disappointed that four of the seven songs chosen are the latest songs performed by the pop-y Irish group-of-the-moment. I was looking forward to learning some new (to me) "Long Lost Irish Songs," as mentioned in the original contest information! I love old Irish music and was really exited about the anticipated availability of arrangements of songs that were not originally available anywhere else; songs like "Si Do Mhaimeo I"(incidentally, that song was performed by everybody's favorite Celtic Woman!) and "An Mhaighdean Mhara." I saw both of these suggested in the contest.

Well, that's all I have to say about it. I am looking forward to seeing what the other three songs are.

Yours,

Molly
