Do you remember the song Morning Has Broken? The popular melody performed by Cat Stevens in the early 1970s was originally based on a song by Scottish composer Mary MacDonald (1789 – 1872). The original lyrics for her hymn entitled Leanabh an Aigh were written in Gaelic.
