Guitar Guru Now Features Voice Command!

This week we've released our latest version of Guitar Guru, version 2.2.

The biggest new feature is that Guitar Guru now has speech recognition, letting you control nearly every function of Guitar Guru using simple voice commands. This lets you keep your hands on your guitar, making Voice Command the most effective way to interact with Guitar Guru.

One More Christmas Guitar Guru Song

We've just added our final new Christmas Guitar Guru song for the year.

Gordon Lightfoot's "Song for a Winter's Night (The Hands I Love)" is now available as a Guitar Guru Session.  While not regularly thought of as a Christmas classic, the song has also recently been covered by Sarah McLachlan on her new "Wintersong" Christmas album, giving it a new popularity.

As you may have noticed, Guitar Guru no longer has a direct link in the main Musicnotes navigation bar.  This is because it has been moved into our new Guitar store, which includes not only Guitar Guru, but Guitar Tab, Bass Guitar Tab, Guitar Methods and the ability to browse all guitar music on Musicnotes.com.

Guitar Guru 2.1.2 Now Available, Plus 30% Off Coupon!

A new version of Guitar Guru is now available as a free download at Musicnotes.com.  All Guitar Guru Sessions are compatible with the new version.

One of the biggest new features with this update is the ability to synch to WMA files, in addition to audio CDs.  Encrypted WMAs from sites like Napster will work just fine, so long as you have the rights to play them on your computer.
