I don’t know about you, but I’m eager to curl up with a mug of cocoa (its still harshly arctic here in Wisconsin) tomorrow night and celebrate recent big-screen thespian and melodic pursuits. Lights! Camera! Movie Sheet Music!

Did you watch the Academy Awards? This year’s nominated films ranged from popular movies like AVATAR to CRAZYHEART, a movie starring Jeff Bridges about a country singer-songwriter named “Bad Blake.” Our selection of movie sheet music highlights a few films that were nominated for the music-related categories, but we do have a few other songs we’d like to point out from other films. 2009 Dove Awards Winners and Sheet Music

The Gospel Music Association Dove Awards honors outstanding achievements in Christian and Gospel music. In its 40th year, the 2009 award ceremony offered fans of Christian music the chance to vote for the award categories Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. Held in April, the ceremony was featured on the Gospel Music Channel. Performers included: Francesca Battistelli, Steven Curtis Chapman, MercyMe, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, and many other guests.
